This is a common belief among people that have just entered the world of fitness. It is true that that, in order to lose weight, cardiovascular training –either by running, swimming, spinning, crosstraining, etc. is vital. But it is not the most effective way to achieve the desired goal.

The combination of strength training and aerobic training (usually named cardiovascular training), plus a low-calorie diet, is the fastest way to start burn calories. This is due to the fact that, just by dieting and aerobic training, you’ll lose weight for sure, but this weight loss derives partly from a loss of muscle mass, which means more sagging.
